If there has been one guiding principle in our family life it has been Waldorf education. I (Gabriela Hydle) began my journey as a Waldorf teacher before the birth of our first child and after he was born he accompanied us to training events in Mexico and several states in the USA. As our son grew, we grew with him and feeling a need to go back to work but not leave our son we founded Palamax Play School in 2017.
Palamax Play School was a home based, Spanish-immersion, Waldorf inspired play school that we ran out of our home in Wheat Ridge, CO with great success until we decided to sell everything and hit the road in our camper. The journey did not end there. Our adventure became more exciting with the news that I was pregnant. News that also brought us back to a new home in Colorado.
It has now been 15 years that I have worked in Waldorf education. I am now a certified Waldorf Language Teacher and have just a few classes left to finish my Waldorf Early Childhood Educator certification. I have raised my two children in this environment and over the years I have learned a lot.
This is why I have decided to start building and selling some of my own products. Here at home and in schools we are either purchasing certain products or making them ourselves and I thought I would like to begin selling products that I would want or I have already created.
